National Reputation in Mental Health work in Homelessness
Dr Williamson has published widely and is an author on the new CLG Psychologically Informed Environments guidance under development. She won article of the year from British Psychological Society 2015 and wrote three book chapters in 2017/2018. She has spoken extensively at conferences and delivered national workshops.
Expertise in Education and Training
Dr Williamson has extensive experience of delivering staff training to a wide network of professionals (including hostels, GP's, criminal justice, outreach, MH trusts, A&E). In the last year she delivered nationwide workshops to over 300 homeless organisations, playing a significant role in building the sector’s capacity. She is also a visiting lecturer at the Kings College London Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience.
