Introducing a course on working with rough sleeping mental health

According to the literature, alongside chronic physical health issues, 80% of people sleeping rough have mental health issues, 85% report histories of trauma and they are nine times more likely to die by suicide than the general population; with an average life expectancy of just 47 years.

Led by Dr Emma Williamson, the aneemo Rough Sleeping Mental Health course utilises the latest Learning Management System (LMS) technology to deliver training to professionals from different sectors and contains high-quality video-based training and advice from a wide range of leading national and international experts on understanding and working with the complex mental health needs and compound trauma experienced by people who are homeless.
